5. Types of Cookies Uptitek Uses

a) Strictly Necessary Cookies

8. How to Clear, Enable, or Reject Uptitek Cookies

11. How long will Uptitek keep your information?

If you delete your Uptitek account, then your personal information is deleted immediately, and the remaining information is anonymised for analytical purposes.

12. Can I delete my data?

1By deleting your Uptitek account, you will erase any personal information in your account that we have about you. We hope you don’t get to delete your account with Uptitek, but should you have to, you can be rest assured that your data will not be abused. Data about how you used Uptitek may not be erased, but any data we hold about use be made anonymous. To delete your account, simply login to your account with your registered username and password and locate ‘Delete Account’.

13. Can I find out what personal information Uptitek holds about me?

You are entitled to request a copy of the personal information Uptitek holds about you by submitting a Subject Access Request by emailing. [email protected]. There is a £10 fee for each request, which you can pay by cheque. We won’t cash the cheque until the day we send the requested information. We will also require that you prove your identity with 2 copies of approved identification). We will try to respond to your request as soon as we can, but this could take up to 40 days. Also, we will use reasonable efforts consistent with our legal duty to supply, correct or delete personal information about you on our files. But there are circumstances when we may not be able to provide the information you have requested because Uptitek does not hold records indefinitely after accounts have been closed.
